Petra Radulovic Photo in Role

From 2021 to 2023, Petra Radulović was a soloist at the State Opera in Hanover, where she was a member of their International Opera Studio. At the Hanover Opera, she performed as Barbarina in Mozart's "Le nozze di Figaro", Janthe in Marschner's "Der Vampyr", Alma in the German premiere of Evers's "Humanoid", Johanna in Sondheim's "Sweeney Todd", Flora in Britten's "The Turn of the Screw", Erste Nymphe in Dvořák's "Rusalka", and Madeleine Usher in Glass's "The Fall of the House of Usher", among others. She has performed over twenty solo roles on the opera stage. Season 2023/2024, she returns to the Hanover stage as a guest, portraying Papagena in Mozart's "The Magic Flute" and reprising the role of Madeleine. Returning to Vienna in 2024, she debuted at the Schönbrunn Palace Theater as Anna Reich in Nicolai's opera "Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor". In 2022, she made her debut at the Verbier Festival in Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel". In 2020 and 2021, she performed at the Schönbrunn Palace Theater in 2020 as the Shepherdess in Ravel's "L'enfant et les sortilèges". With the Operosa Opera Festival in 2019, she toured as Serpina in Pergolesi's "La serva padrona".

Petra Radulović has been studying singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna since 2018, first under the guidance of Prof. Regine Köbler, and since 2020 with Prof. Rainer Trost. She graduated from the university in September 2022 and continued with master's studies in opera from October 2023, in the class of Prof. Helen Malkowsky and Prof. Hartmut Keil. She has honed her skills at masterclasses with Neil Shicoff, Barbara Frittoli, Thomas Hampson, Thomas Quasthoff, Edith Wiens, Lilia Ilieva, Peter Berne, Claudia Visca, Christoph Pregardien, and others.

She is the recipient of the first scholarship from the Miloš Karadaglić Foundation for the 2023/2024 academic year. She won the second prize at the "Lazar Jovanović" competition in Belgrade in 2018 and at the "Adriatic Accords" competition in Rijeka in 2017. Additionally, she won the "Golden Lyre" at the Montenegrin national competition in Podgorica in 2017 and 2015.

She has worked with directors such as Ersan Mondtag, Theu Boermans, Lydia Steier, Tatjana Gürbaca, Elisabeth Stöppler, Taro Morikawa, Vladan Đurković, Silvia Costa, Tobias Mertke, and Victoria Stevens. She has sung under the musical direction of conductors such as Stephan Zilias, Giulio Cilona, Andreas Ottensamer, Mathieu Herzog, Paul-Boris Kertsman, Stanislav Kochanovsky, Milen Apostolov, Anton Brezinka, and accompanied by the orchestra such as the Appassionato Orchestra, the Lower Saxony State Orchestra Hanover, Operosa Opera Festival Orchestra, Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra and the Junior Orchestra of the Verbier Festival.
